I am an active member of the local British Dental Association and was chairman in 1990 and again 2010.
I hold a committee post on the British Society of Occlusal Studies. www.bsos.org.uk
I am a current member of the American Equilibration Society and attend there conference annually in Chicago.
I am a current member of the Association of Dental Implantology
I hold a teaching post at King’s College Dental School (part of GKT)
I also teach some weekend courses with IPSO An international partnership in the study of Occlusion.
OCCLUSION is the study of how teeth bite together. Many years ago I attended an introductory seminar led by an American teaching programme into the study of occlusion. Its effects on aspects of Dental Health and head and neck pain astounded me. As a result I joined their training programme in principles of occlusion and went on to complete the more advanced restorative programme in 1997.
I was very honoured when in 2003 I was asked to assist with their teaching in London and now spend four weekends a year teaching others the same principles I now practice.
